This looks quite cool. I would suggest that when using this plugin we should also save static versions of the documentation whenever a new branch/tag is created. Is this something that is already supported/implemented in this system?

The AutoExport Plugin should work well for exporting static versions of the documentation. This is what Apache uses for exporting their documentation from confluence to the various sites. Unfortunately, there are currently some issues with this plugin and the confluence version we're using (as well as the new code macro).
