The 2.0-M4 version of AppFuse lacks remote debugging for unit tests when run from maven. The attached patch adds remote debugging on port 4000, similar to what was done in AppFuse 1.9.x.

Please ignore this patch. This can be done with the following option -Dmaven.surefire.debug . It opens the debugger on port 5005 w/ suspend=y.
