Seems to be an issue caused by the latest versions of HtmlUnit:

WebTest/HtmlUnit don't work with Tapestry 4.1.2+ either.

Note that I added the following to Tapestry's config.xml to make Canoo WebTest work with Dojo:

<option name="ThrowExceptionOnScriptError" value="false"/>
