Not a big deal IMO since client-side validation hides the issue. However, if JavaScript is turned off, APF-368 does happen with Tapestry. If "error" can be appended to the value of "class", this won't happen.

Seems to be a bug in Tapestry 4.1.3:

https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TAPESTRY-975

Moving to 2.0.x in hopes it'll be fixed in the next Tapestry release.

Upgrading to Tapestry 4.1.4 should fix this problem.
